Visit all five landing sectors and gain an in-depth understanding of what it took to storm those beaches on that fateful day. Visit iconic sites like the Normandy American Cemetery and Pointe du Hoc, as well as Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Pegasus Bridge and Brecourt Manor to learn more about the airborne operations away from the beachheads. Itinerary

  • Passengers are greeted at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris and transferred by coach to Normandy. In the evening, there is an introduction to the tour and a chance for the passengers to introduce themselves over a welcome drink.

  • We begin with a visit to Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer. The day continues with a trip to Pointe du Hoc, where Rudder’s Rangers ascended the steep cliffs to take out the long-range artillery firing on the landing beaches.

  • We spend the day exploring Utah Beach. We stop at the monument near Brecourt Manor, site of Easy Company’s famous assault on a German artillery position. The afternoon features Utah Beach, Sainte-Mere-Eglise, where John Steele got caught on the steeple of the church, and the Airborne Museum. The day ends with a visit to Dead Man’s Corner Museum in St-Come-du-Mont with an opportunity to buy authentic and replica WWII items and ride Stoy Hora, a C-47 flight simulator.

  • We begin with a trip to Longues-sur-Mer, the only German battery in Normandy with the guns still in place, giving us an idea of what the Atlantic Wall was like. We then travel to the town of Arromanches-les-Bains where we visit the 360°Circular Cinema and Gold Beach with the remnants of the Mulberry Harbor. In the afternoon, we head to the Juno Beach Centre to learn about the Canadian forces on D-Day, and finish on Sword Beach and Pegasus Bridge.

  • After enjoying one more delicious breakfast in Normandy, we travel to Paris, where passengers are dropped off at Charles de Gaulle airport for their afternoon flights home.

You walk away from this tour proud to be an American! I believe every American should go over to Normandy to see what we American's did for France and the world! Procom put together a tour that my 13 year old granddaughter just loved. After seeing all of the movies, beaches and pictures it all came together in the end. You could picture it your mind.
